We have been knitting and crocheting all year, now all the Mudgeeraba community can enjoy the colourful trees at the Mudgeeraba Village Green
Tree bombed for the D’Arcy Doyle Art Awards, have a look at the great paintings in the hall.
As we were decorating the trees many people stopped and chatted to us and admired our tree bombing, they thought it was a fantastic project. Everyone was smiling and taking photos as they walked thru the park.

The Mudgeeraba Show was a great success for our group with an outstanding 125 entries in the Spinning, Weaving and Felting section. Lots of our members are grinning with pride after being awarded prizes. Well done to everyone that entered. The overall champion is Pam Everitt, congratulations. Feast your eyes on the gorgeous handmade crafts.
Our group had a great display of our crafts at the Mudgeeraba Show. Many members demonstrated spinning and weaving and lots of people came to watch and gave weaving a go. Young Emily enjoyed weaving on the sampleit loom and Miss Teen Showgirl Mallory Williamson loved our crafty display.
The Mudgeeraba Show is on this weekend and we have over 100 entries in the Spinning, Weaving and Felting section. Come on down and see all the beautiful handcrafts. This year’s Mudgeeraba show is on the 24 and 25 of June at the Mudgeeraba Showground. Here are our lovely show stewards getting all the entries ready for the Spinning Weaving and Felting section. All entries will be on display in the Arts and Crafts Pavilion during the show. Our group is also demonstrating spinning and weaving in the pavilion, so drop by and see us, we will even have handmade crafts for sale.
Recently our group attend the annual Mudgeeraba Street Party. A great community event , where our members displayed crafts they had made, and got the community involved in weaving, spinning knitting and crochet. Lots of fun and great entertainment.
