Freeform crochet with Prudence Mapstone

On the weekend our members enjoyed an inspiring workshop with Prudence Mapstone.

Prudence has kindly loaned a collaborated yarn bombing work to our project. Thanks Prudence.

We learned many new stitches, layout design and how to fit and sew scrumbles together. Even though it was hot we kept crocheting and had lots of fun.

The trees in Mudgeeraba are going to look wonderful.

Welcome 2017

So our group is back for a creative 2017. We have many projects on the go.

Started off the year with a tapestry weaving workshop. Soon to be followed with a freeform crochet workshop in February.

Some pics of the tapestry weaving. Well done everyone.
